What Is NSFW Character AI?
NSFW character AI is roleplay chat with a fictional character who has a defined personality, a setting and a reason to be in the scene, and who is allowed to get explicit. A plain NSFW chatbot answers you; a character holds a voice, wants something, and should still sound like herself forty messages in.
Most sites describe a character with the same few fields: a short description, a personality, a scenario, a first message and a few example exchanges. Does Character.AI Allow NSFW?

On 29 October 2025 Character.AI announced it would end open-ended chat for under-18 users by 25 November and check ages with its own model plus third-party tools such as Persona.
