Nadia Voss runs the editorial side of NSFW AI Writer. She came out of genre fiction — romance and erotica, both as a writer and as a line editor for small presses — and moved into AI tooling in 2022 when the first wave of chat models started producing prose that was almost, but not quite, readable. Her interest has never been in whether a model can be pushed past a filter. It is in whether the thing on the other side of the filter is worth reading.
Her testing method is stubbornly unglamorous: the same six scenario prompts, sent to every platform she evaluates, scored blind on pacing, character consistency, dialogue quality, and whether the scene still holds together forty exchanges in. She writes the scenarios herself and rotates them every six months so nobody can optimise against them. Roughly 60 platforms have been through that process so far.
She is the person on the team most likely to argue that a tool everyone else likes is actually bad, usually on the grounds that it writes every character with the same voice. She wrote this site’s house style guide, which is one page long and mostly consists of the instruction "describe what happened, not how it felt to you."
